About dresses and insignia

The Conferment Ceremony is one of the oldest festivities the university has to offer, a sort of a play where insignia, dresses and overall visuality has a central role. You’ll find complete dress code and academic insignia instructions from form our website (https://fil-promootio2019.helsinki.fi/en/dress-code/). We recommend to rent or buy your dress and insignia on time, because many suppliers are busy as the conferment gets closer.  A list of suppliers is available at our website, for the time being only in Finnish (https://fil-promootio2019.helsinki.fi/tarjoukset-ja-yhteistyokumppanit/). If you have any questions regarding the dress code or the academic insignia, do not hesitate to contact the conferment office!
